The Nashville Model (#1)

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

The great Erin Sinard from Nasville has been modelling sicne she was 15 and has added “Burlesque performer” to her resume , as well as ” fashion student at IADT.” Known sometimes as “Belle” Erin begins our intense Profile on Nashville Models. We believe Elvis would’ve moved Graceland from Memphis to Nashville for Erin. She seems to capture that jet back haired Tenesssee magic, but Erin wants to get into highly original looks, and her varied porfolio suggests she’ll be able to do it. Erin is a Nashville star to watch.

As you wear these clothes, a phenomenal sense of relaxation comes over you. It is the most spiritually sound line we’ve seen so far, and it comes from that city of Spiritual French Canadians, Montreal. There’s a very large selection of really beautiful clothes on her site, and with all the genius going on, we wouldn’t surprised to learn that that may Tanya herself modeling these clothes, as this is a kind of genius of serenity model, but we don’t know. Miami And New York: Eva Danielle

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007

In the early going, we at Glamwire have a favorite new designer. Eva Danielle Wittels has a slamming, unique-looking vibrantly colorful line, that looks like a perfect combination between Miami and New York influences. And you can see that it was bronzed glamour of Miami that really forged the predominant influence over her in this line from her biography: “Although her time in Europe was invaluable in developing a solid foundation in the industry, Eva yearned to see her artistic visions take form. She returned to the influence and energy that is Miami, and debuted her first collection under the name Eva Danielle in August 2005. ” We are thinking a kind of new Lilly Pulitzer stamp on Floridian fashion, the sundress on a few glorious Mojitos dancing on the beach after dinner at Larios on Miami, or Charley’s on the ocean in Palm Beach. A Holy Alliance: Growing The Great American Jeans Company.

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

Where is the next Great American Jeans Company coming from? Well, Phoenix based photographer J.R. Holy suggests that it might just be coming from Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania. That’s where ParishRFormel, which under Shawn Mosely, since the 1993 has been designing formal wear and then in 2001 , with new partner Kyle Hoesel, started an upscale denim line with fabulous attention detail and a really rocking, ruby red logo that is absolutely dazzling. Also note Mr. Holy’s excellent photography, a key part of the ParishRFormel look. To see more and shop, click here. Fashion. Fashion news.

Fashion: It Started with a Tie Is Heather Arnerson The Next Ralph Lauren?

Monday, February 19th, 2007

The Heavyweights weigh in with the Verdict. “Yes! Yes! Yes!”

Michael Gross, the author of “Genuine Authentic, The Real Story of Ralph Lauren,” writes, “Nooses for Deuces, Heather Arnesan’s new tie line, represents the can-do spirit of America that RL has always been all about! If you can dream it, be it! Nooses suggess that you can hang yourself with your own necktie after your business is destroyed and totally goes down the tubes! Holy American Dream! Be it!

In all seriousness, while H.A.s terminology may need some work, this St. Louis Park, Minnesota based designer has a tie with the word “Spank” on it, and hey, we at Glamwire are pretty conservative and wear solid Seigo ties–woven on Japanese kimono looms–only (at least most of the time) but on Thursdays, our Grey Suit, Colored Shirt, Patterned Tie Day, we’d wear that tie. Heather’s looking for investors. Write her at arnegan@hotmail.com
