Aaron CohenSlave Hunter

Asia Vision Foundation honored Aaron Cohen author of the bestseller, “Slave Hunter” at the Centurion penthouse on West 56 Street. As one of Aaron’s friends mentioned, “he has a price on his head”. Some people in some parts of the world are not happy that Mr. Cohen is a tireless supporter of the Burmese people and through his human rights work has managed to free  enslaved people who have been used in human trafficking in particular countries. Mr. Cohen also spoke of imprisoned Burmese Leader Aung San Suu Kyi and urged for her release.  Shepard Fairey artist known for the “Hope” Obama portrait, had his newest portrait of Kyi unveiled in the hopes that this will raise money and awareness for the Burmese cause. The Internet Freedom Consortium which provides uncensored internet access to people in Iran and China, and Asia Catalyst that assists grassroots groups in Asia also attended the event.
