In a move that was also no shock to anyone here…Betsey Johnson remained suspended in midair for 105 minutes at the tail end of her ready to wear show on New York yesterday evening. Pretty much everyone left the venue during the first ten minutes of her confusing suspension except Russell Simmons and his daughter Laurie, …who used it as an excuse to do yoga. “I was inspired by that Toyota commercial where the guy next to Eli Manning jumps up and remains suspended in mid air…” Ms. Johnson told Glamwire, while still in midair….”that…and, of course, the Beatles.”*
