One from the Vault: Der Kommissar, Spring '07
The game, seduction and escapism are part of the story behind the lingerie and lingerie accessories of Der Kommissar: inspiration for every woman in search of something more. In the new collection designer Annelies Nuy has been inspired by the four magical P's of Der Kommissar: Please, Play, Power, Passion. The new pieces are high fashion summer wear items in warm colors and retro 50's pin-up style in tricot and lurex, but also outfits of lacquered fabrics in black and silver - powerful colors that fit with the independent bold woman. Der Kommissar presented its latest collection of lingerie and lingerie accessories during the Amsterdam Fashion Week in July 2007. These fotos were taken by Henk Van Engelen for Glamwire in July of 2006....and cartooned by Cal Rhodes.

Form (Sale 510 Greene Street #7N)
Jerry Tam's Form clearly rocks, and Glamwire believes we are definitely speaking to a future Hall Of Famer when we speak to Mr. Tam. "Always have fun. Always be creative," Jerry said to us minutes ago, refusing to be more creative (jest kidden!) while expounding on his philosophy from Form headuarters in Soho, where a really great sale is going on right now. His pre-spring line, which is shown above, can be seen on his site (www.jerrytam.com), and on our site by bringing your curser to the top border of our show window...Form's pre-spring show is show #6. Head down to Soho and check out a young designer who we think is going a long way. T shirts from $100 . Pants around $550. Couture around $2000. www.jerrytam.com
