I've come to discover New York has the BEST food for vegie/vegany people... so many amazing healthy cafes and restaurants and a zillion different tofurkey, soy ice creams, hummus's n stuff...(& corn chips..)..my friends made us a Tofurkey roast for Thanksgiving too....was very good indeed.

One of my fave places in the whole wide WORLD to grab a healthy DIVINE tasty snack from is 'Whole Earth Bakery & Kitchen' -it's on 130 St Marks in the East Village.. - a cute little old totally vegan, sugar and preservative free bakery that's been there for ever I think...

The vegan pizza is RIDIK-ulous..ly amazing (they say it's the best pizza you'll ever eat in your life) and they have this cold raw avocado coconut soup and gazpacho that's beyond a joke- so tasty and SO healthy.

There's also these pressed flaxseed and sundried tomato crakers that take days to make and they're so nice- they taste like CHEESE but have nothing to do with cheese...I've been known to eat a million of these in one sitting (walking)..

My mate Nik that I always talk about is obsessed with the massive blueberry scones...and I'm more of a chilli savoury chick but I once tried the vegan brownie and almost turned into a bulemic so I could eat 60 more of them...(not reeeally) ...Can you tell I'm hungry while writing this??haaaaaaaaaaa. Oh, and yes...the vegan lasagne....hmmmm...YU U U UMM!! ...I wonder if they deliver coz I'm in SoHo and I would like to eat it now. The man that works there is cute and lovely.
